Gelatin printing is a form of edition and one-of-a kind printing. You’ll use gelatin plates with water based mediums. The process, like magic - simple and versatile and is equally well suited for professional printmakers, artists wishing to expand their artistic vocabulary, and the novice wanting to enjoy an easy process. The materials are non-toxic and clean up with water.

We will be experimenting with black and white images for the most part: Sumi ink on printmaking paper. You can branch off to color mediums like watercolor if you'd like. Bring your imagination and be prepared to have fun and make some prints. We'll set up a floral still life and work ala prima from Terri's garden & some other visual delights. Permanent results, perfect for archival printmaking papers.

What to bring?

* Any stencils you are fond of if you use them

* a favorite photo or two if "just messing around ala prima" doesn't feel like your vibe
